NUMERICABLE DEAL BRINGS NEW AUDIENCE TO I-CONCERTS. 21-01-2008 a écrit :I-CONCERTS has finalised a deal with Numericable, France’s largest cable operator, to launch the company's i-concerts HDTV channel as part of its service in the second quarter of 2008. I-concerts HD is currently available to viewers in France via Free and Neuf telecom IPTV networks, whilst the i-concerts video-on-demand (VOD) music service continues to expand across numerous IPTV platforms such as Free, Swisscom and Rosmedia.

With a programming output of approximately 250 hours of HD content scheduled for 2008, the service will offer Numericable viewers a selection of performances from artists such as U2, Mariah Carey, Robbie Williams, Kanye West and Luciano Pavarotti, as part of a nonstop roll-out of concerts, festivals, exclusive interviews and artist profiles. Olivier Gerolami, chief operating officer of Numericable said: "Our subscribers now have one of the most comprehensive selections of HD programmes in Europe, with the best quality available".

"I-concert's mission is to deliver a television channel of the new generation, based on the best available technologies. We are happy to see this combination of a full HD concert channel with the world’s largest on-demand library of live music programmes finally available to cable subscribers in France".
